Q: How do you ship packages?

A: Shawnee Moon Herbaceuticals [SMH] ships all packages Priority Mail via the United States Postal Service [U.S.P.S.]. Insurance is included in every shipment.

Q: What happens if my order is lost, damaged or delayed?

A: Though we have never had an experience of lost or damaged packages over the 22 years we’ve been in business, there have been occasions when shipments were delayed. These instances were completely due to the U.S.P.S. and their failure to deliver the orders promptly. They never were lost, but did not arrive at the recipient’s address for 10-14 days later than expected.

Once your order is put in the hands of the U.S.P.S., it is no longer the responsibly of SMH. If you provide an email with your order, we will email you a tracking number and in the unlikely event of damage or loss to your package, you can submit an insurance claim with the U.S.P.S.. Q: When will my order be shipped?

A: All orders are processed and shipped on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Being self-employed is a great blessing and we enjoy the flexibility this offers. Your orders make this possible and we appreciate your support. We always strive to return calls, emails and process orders within 1-2 business days of receiving them. Thank you for your patience.

Q: Can I return a product?

A: All sales are final.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Credit cards, paypal, check and money order.

We accept and process credit cards via our secure online check out, and in our office. So you can call in with your credit card information and we can process your order securely over the phone. We do not keep any sensitive client information digitally, giving our company among the highest security clearance rating.

We accept PayPal through our secure check out on the website.

You can pay by check or money order simply by checking out as usual on the website and selecting the check/money order option at check out. We will have your order ready to ship as soon as we receive your payment in the mail. Please make checks/money orders out to Shawnee Moon Herbaceuticals and mail to:

Q: What if an item I ordered is backordered?

A: On occasion, we have an oversight and something you may have ordered is on backorder.

Due to the fact that all our tinctures are crafted carefully and conscientiously by the phase of the moon, it can take between 2 and 4 weeks for the product to become available again.

In this case, we will ship all the items currently available in your order as usual, and we will send the backordered items in a separate shipment as soon as those items become available again and the shipping costs on the second shipment will be waived.

Q: Do you have a store front?

A: With 95% of our business mail order, we don’t have much call for local, in store clients. We do have a place of business at the physical address listed on this site where we rent office space and lab space. This is where all of our products are formulated and researched, and where all of our orders are processed.
