Immunoboost is by far our most sold product. And for very good reason! This Fortner Original Formula is loaded with immune-stimulating herbs. In this post, I am going to give an herb-by-herb explanation on the research and science behind the choices of herbs in this formula.

Immunoboost is an all herbal support therapy for use when one experiences a depressed immune system. There are many situations where the immune system becomes depleted or compromised. This can be due to lack of nutrition in the diet, to stressful life styles, degenerative, contagious and infectious diseases. From colds and flus to cancer, HIV and AIDs.

The herbs found in the Immunoboost formula have been found to aid healthy cellular formation, reduce prolonged inflammation, and increase the wellness of the entire immune system while encouraging a healthy immune response to foreign bodies/injury/infection.

ChrysanthemumDendranthema  indicum, D . grandiflorum – Clears liver heat and counteracts inflammation, helps purify blood and detoxifying to the body in general. It is antiseptic, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, alturative and antimicrobial.

Astragalus – Astragalus membranaceus – Increases energy, a tonic for the spleen, kidneys, lungs and blood. As an immunomodulator, it increases T-cell production, aids adrenal gland function and fights cancer. Rejuvenative, immuno-stimulant, anti-tumor, anticancer, anti-inflammatory and aid digestion. Licorice root – Glycyrrhiza glabra – Stimulates the adrenal cortex, counteracts stress, fights flues and colds, supports the liver and detoxifies the blood. It has anti-inflammatory cortisone-like effects, and stimulates the production of interferons. It is demulcent, phytoestrogen, diuretic, expectorant, laxative, emetic, emollient, pectoral, alterative, anti-arthritic, sedative, tonic, stimulant and anti-viral.

Kelp – Ascophyllum nodosum – Promotes healthy thyroid and is beneficial to sensory nerves and membranes surrounding the brain and spine. Improves intestinal flora and protects the body from radiation, while boosting the immune system and increasing energy. It is an anti-oxidant, demulcent, emollient, alterative, nutritive, anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory and metabolic stimulant.

It is antimicrobial, anti-tumor, immuno-modulator, analgesic, anodyne, diuretic, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory.
