Mullein is a plant that grows wild here in Missouri and in many areas around the world. It is characterized by the very soft, large leaves that grow on it and the big flower spike that come on it in it’s second year of growth. It is useful as a demulcent and expectorant. Highly recommended for lung health, as it is soothing and supportive of normal, healthy lungs and connective tissues. Usually suggested for the respiratory system and facilitating a productive cough, asthma, etc.
