Happy, happy day! My new single has released!
“In the Cross of Christ I Glory” was a hymn I found in the hymnal that I had never heard before. But when I read the lyrics I was inspired by the deep truths in it. I wrote my own melody so I could sing the words by John Bowring, and added a chorus to the 4 original verses.
We recorded this track at The Master’s Touch Studios with the sound master himself, David Lubbers. I’m so grateful for his expertise and experienced ear to help make me sound great!

These verses from John Bowring were published originally in 1825 (according to Google). The chorus you’ll get to hear on this single release (on JUNE 15th!!) was written by me during summer 2019. The melody is original, composed by myself the same time the chorus was written.
Last year, many of you stepped up to support my little music fund and see where God would lead Davy and I with my music. We started praying, practicing, and recording music towards the end of the year and into early 2021. Recording can be a long process, humbling, but also super fun.
This song came together pretty seamlessly and we are excited to see how God might use it!
