Today I want to share about three herbs I don’t leave home without. Or maybe more specifically, Three Products/Formulas I don’t leave home without. Because, I can’t limit myself to ONLY 3 Herbs. Let’s be honest. That would be like picking a favorite child. So let’s hop to it!

Three herbs (or blends) I don’t leave home without…

#1 – Peppermint

Now, I may bring this along with me in several forms. One would be in the tincture form of the Shawnee Moon formula, G.I. Juice. This tincture is easy to bring in a travel bag, and it’s super useful for supporting healthy digestion after meals on the road, or when the drive is getting extra windy. It contains Peppermint, Ginger and Fennel and a couple drops can do the trick.

Another form that I find HIGHLY effective and handy is Young Living’s Digize Essential oil. Containing Peppermint, Tarragon, Ginger, Peppermint, Juniper, Lemongrass, Anise, and Patchouli oils for a spicy, exotic aromatic blend. To enjoy its rich, calming scent, diffuse in your home, office, or even car. You can even apply it directly to chest, wrists, and abdomen to enjoy its scent wherever you go. INSTANT CALM. Not my fave smell, but I use it cause it’s magic in a bottle.

Peppermint essential oil also shows up in a couple roller bottle blends that I like to travel with. My season blend is Peppermint, Lemon and Lavender with YL’s V6 oil as a carrier. Then I love our team oil blend called ‘Joyful’ that contains Young Living’s blend called Joy, mixed with Peppermint, Lemon and Tangerine oils in a carrier.

#2 – Stinging Nettle

This herb always comes with me in the form of Anti-Hist tincture and KS Allerease tincture. When you travel, you’re in and out of the car and stores, and smells and pollen can be a real problem and promote occasional discomfort. I like to have these herbs (along with the season roller blend mentioned above) to support seasonal wellness. I generally will take some before before bed, and make sure I shower off at the end of the day and wash my hair to rid myself of as much pollen and pollution as possible.

#3 – Elderberry

I bring Elderberry with me in the form of Olive Leaf Plus tincture! Which also contains a host of other herbs that support and fortify my immune system. While your out and about traveling, you typically eat less healthier meals, are exposed to more germs and environments that you’re not accustom to and could possibly under more stress than normal being out of your ‘norm’. Having elderberry in my daily regimen while traveling is one of my best defense mechanisms. In addition to that, I will be taking Super C and Super B with me during traveling.

What herbs do you travel with?

What is your go to when you’re traveling? I also can’t leave the house without a bottle of hand purifier which I make myself (Thieves and witch hazel in a spray bottle; easy peasy!).
